The Data Protection
Unit is a new family of appliances which provide automated
backup/restore, integrated bare metal crash recovery and bit-level data
protection on removable hard disks allowing you to reinstate your data
at a rate of up to 15 times faster than the restore rate of data backed
up on tape cartridges. The product ships complete with hardware and
bundled software optimized and ready for plug-n-play and lights out
operation all at a price point that brings data protection to the masses
in a simplified and integrated solution.
Data Protection Unit DPU
Unitrends’ DPU family consists
of a small form factor, a 1U and 2U rack-mounted, network-attached
backup and disaster recovery appliance. These DPU’s offer complete
backup, restore and bare metal recovery of all servers and clients on
the network. Options vary depending upon speed, capacity, redundancy and
features required. Administration is simple and once set up the product
is designed to operate in a lights out fashion.

Secure Data Sync
Unitrends Secure Data Sync has the unique capability of creating a
synthetic master backup at a remote site from incremental data captured
locally by synchronizing the data at the block level. The software
enables enterprises of all sizes to replicate complete sites for offsite
disaster protection at a fraction of the cost of competing solutions.
